Head Start Grantee Directors, Governing Board and Policy Council Members, as well as selected allies, are invited to review and reflect on the opportunities and challenges presented in our new legislation. Please join us in San Diego on April 15th for the Executive Symposium on Reauthorization. This one-day event will serve to present a common framework, highlight the dramatic changes confronting our programs and build an agenda for CHSA at the state and national levels.   Head Start's 2007 reauthorization, Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007, PL 110 - 134, initiates in a new era of opportunity and challenge for local programs, our employees, clients and community partners.  For thousands of children and families in California, the implementation of this act will profoundly impact their experience and later school success.
