Greetings!

As the school year draws to a close, take a look at your child or student's academic and behavioral experience, and you might wonder, "Is this what we want next year?"  If you see the need for some improvements, parent coaching can help you create them. No need to get "therapy" and a diagnosis ... just straight on what-to-do-to-make-things-better conversation in Tina's office, over the phone, or via Skype.

As your coach, I know you've been doing the best you could.  You just need some new information on improving child behavior, and I am happy to provide effective strategies for bringing out the best in a child with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attachment Disorder, autism, Asperger's, giftedness, or no diagnosis at all.  Parents of children of all ages can get what they need to end the arguing, tantrums, resistance, and fear. If you are going through a family change, such as separation or divorce, you'll gain from help in making good decisions for the sake of the children.

And there's a special on coaching for June!  Sign up for four sessions before May 31, and get a fifth free session, usable any time in the future! Give me a call or e-mail tina@nurturedheart.com if you need more info.

Here's to placing the healing in the hands of parents, child care providers, and teachers ... where it belongs!

Sincerely,
Tina

Do you?

Dad and Daughter

When the dad in this picture lays down the law and his daughter decides whether she'll comply or not, something interesting is happening inside her head.  She is becoming her own person, more and more each year, and her dad's "authority" over her is diminishing, merely because she is growing up. She's making her own decisions, and her dad's voice is playing second fiddle to the inner sound of her own voice urging her to branch out in the world ... maybe even make her own mistakes.

Read on to find out what's bugging me ...
