2010 Clark County Fair Scores are in!
We had a record number of 205 entries this year, great job!
Tuesday night we judged 74 wines, and Wednesday night we judged 131 beers. Yesterday I placed the bottles and ribbons on display at the fairgrounds in the large exhibit hall. The bottles will remain on display until the fair ends on Sunday, August 15th.
You may come pick up your bottles here at the store starting on Tuesday afternoon August 17th.
We do have the score sheets here at Bader Beer & Wine Supply. You are welcome to drop by and pick up your score sheets immediately.
These score sheets are invaluable for beer and wine makers to use to help make better beer and wine in the future. We emphasize to the judges that their comments are far more important than the score or ribbon you receive. If your score was not as high as you had hoped, let us help you by identifying the flaws the judges detected, and how you can avoid those flaws in the future. I have seen countless beer and wine makers use this feedback to improve their beer and wine in future batches.
So take time to read the judges comments, and use those comments to improve your beer and wine.
