Did you Know?
The church office has produced about 400 copies of The Happenings twice a month for years, keeping you informed about what's going on around here! This undertaking costs the church about $310 per month, or $3,720 per year. Now that we have "gone green" (electronic), here are the annual savings:
Paper = 14,760 sheets
Labels = 5,904 labels
Printing = $475
Postage = $1,000
This adds up to a savings of $2,300 per year, not including the positive impact on our landfills!

"I haven't picked up a musical instrument in 50 years!" (As Rebekah would say, "SO WHAT?!?) It's all in fun-nobody in our group is making a living by playing music. On the other hand, it IS a lot of fun, and in the near future we WILL play concerts. We enjoy each other's company and we'd like to enjoy yours, as well.

To Chuck and Karen Nichols, who will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, May 27th. They will be renewing their vows at Wyndam Resort in Lake Buena Vista at 11am. Jackie Williams will be officiating the ceremony. |
Special Thanks... to Suzanne Ondomisi and Jane Scott for coordinating volunteers who have collated, labeled, and sealed the newsletter for many, many years. We estimate that between them, they have processed over 175,000 newsletters! |

Would you like to lift someone's spirits?
Many of the floral arrangements that brighten our sanctuary each Sunday are delivered to members or friends of the church who are homebound, hospitalized, or suffering from illness or loss. If you are interested in occasionally being the bright spot in someone's day, please contact Holly Naylor, at 260-3999 or email holly.naylor@gmail.com. An informational session will be held in early June for those interested.
