February 22nd
There will be a worship service in the Sanctuary at 7pm.
Come receive communion and ashes as the 2012 Confirmands receive their bibles and meet their mentors. |
ENDING HUNGER AND POVERTY, CARING FOR THE EARTH
Since 1944, Heifer International has helped more than 8.5 million people in over 125 countries move toward greater self-reliance through the gift of livestock and training in environmentally sound agriculture. Heifer International's Asia/South Pacific Program began in 1946 with dairy cattle shipments to China and Japan. In 60 years, it has grown to over 150 projects in 12 countries, an area with almost two-thirds of the world's population. Today, gifts of livestock serve as entry points into communities, which are transformed from impoverished and underdeveloped to vibrant and sustainable.

Souper Bowl of Caring
314.7 pounds of food were donated, which equals well over 200 cans, plus $172.00 in cash to E.C.H.O.
Thank you to our generous congregation for your support.
What the Youth think...
Q: If as a youth group we were able to buy a Super Bowl commercial (stop laughing) what "message" would we want to share with the millions watching?
A: Got Jesus? (picture of our new building)
Got Youth?
You have a place. You aren't alone. Love is possible.
Pictures of regular people making a difference through showing compassion and hope.
God loves you. Obviously. That's all there is to it.
