Diabetes Workshop
Do you have diabetes or pre-diabetes? Would you like to learn more about how to better manage it and to share ideas with others who are on the same journey? Then plan to attend the "Journey for Control" workshop on Saturday, January 28 from 10am-12pm.

Online Giving

Many of our members have taken advantage of the Online Giving option available through our website. If you would like to use Online Giving, please visit the church website to set up your account.  For those of you who already take advantage of Online Giving, please note that if you indicated a specific time period for your transactions (such as 12 monthly payments) it may expire at the end of the year.  You would need to sign up for another transaction schedule.  If you selected the continuous option then your transactions will remain in effect.  If you are not sure how your account was set up, please email me (andy@fpcbrandon.org) with your request to look up your account information and I will let you know if any action is required.

New Beginnings - A Six Week Study of the Book of Genesis

Beginning on January 11, I will be leading a weekly Bible study class on the book of Genesis. We will meet each Wednesday evening at 7:00pm in room 104 in the Campbell Discipleship Center. The first class will focus on the creation story in Genesis 1:1-2:4. The second class on January 18 will focus on the stories of Adam and Eve. We will also be learning about Noah, Abraham, Jacob and Joseph. We will discover how God calls the world into being to be God's faithful world; and how God calls us to be God's faithful people. I am really looking forward to this class, and I hope you will make plans to come and be a part of it.

Labora - Cedarkirk Volunteer Work Retreat

January 6-8 for full retreat
January 7th for the work day

Come out to Cedarkirk for a time of service, fellowship and renewal. You'll have the opportunity to sit by a campfire, experience devotions, fellowship and serve alongside friends. Some of the service projects that you may help work on include clearing brush, roofing cabins, and freshening things up with a new coat of paint.

The retreat is free but we need you to RSVP so we know who to expect. Please take time to go to our website www.cedarkirk.org and complete a registration form. We are asking that all volunteers be at least 16 years of age (minors must be accompanied by a participating adult).
