For about six years, collaborative co-working spaces have been gaining traction in

the business world. As more and more individuals decide to opt out of the traditional

9 to 5 job and work from home (and of course the occasional local wifi hotspot),

they soon realize what they are missing out on. Co-working has evolved as

alternative to working in coffee shops and cafes, or the isolation from working independently in home offices.

As collaborative co-working spaces have become more attractive to independent

business professionals as a way to cut back on high rent costs, the demand

for high end and luxurious work space design has been rising. Pay as you go

co-working spaces provide individuals with the luxury of a high end office

space for a reasonable price and the benefits working around others.

Designers should take note of the growing market for high end collaborative

workspaces as there may be a benefit in both designing them

and working in them!
