News from Double Ewe

August 14, 2012

Good day!
We're starting Week Three of our Next Chapter Sale, and things are going pretty well.  It's been great fun seeing so many of you, and thanks for all the kind words.

I just have a couple of reminders for you today.
The Next Chapter Sale?  What's That?
If you missed our last newsletter, you might be wondering what I'm talking about.  You can read the announcement here, but the short version is: I'm moving on the next chapter in my life.  We're having a Going Out of Business Sale, but that sounds so negative, so we're calling it a Next Chapter Sale.  Everything in the shop is 25% off: yarn, books, needles, notions, patterns... everything.

Double Ewe Rewards

There's just one more week to bring in your past receipts to get your Double Ewe Rewards - Saturday August 18th is the last day to use your discount.

-------------------------

from our last newsletter:

We've had a rewards program for years.  It went like this:  "For every $250 spent on regularly priced merchandise and class fees, you can earn a $20 coupon."

Because the entire shop is now being discounted, you won't be able to accumulate any rewards going forward.  If you have receipts saved up, please bring them in as soon as possible.  No new discounts will be issued after 8/18/2012.

For the duration of the sale, these coupons will be applied against the full retail price before calculating any discounts.

Knittervention!

Knittervention is this Friday, August 17th.  This will be our last Knittervention in the shop, and it sounds like a lot of people are coming, so don't miss out!  We've cleared away some things, so there's room for lots of people.

--------------------------------------------

Knittervention is our once-a-month, Friday-night-potluck-get-together.   We do this the third Friday of every month, from 6:30 - 10:00.   For the whole scoop, please click here

Oh, and even though we call it Knittervention, of course crocheters are welcome, too.  "Crochetervention" just sounded funny, and "Friday Night hookers"...well...that doesn't sound right either. ;)

That's all for now, folks!  Once again, I'd like to thank you all for supporting your local yarn shop.
