Last weekend we broke through the wall between our two small classrooms to make one bigger classroom (thanks Nancy & Eric!).  What does this mean to you?  More room, more light, and more seats.  Yay!  And it also means there are a few more slots open in Nancy Lindberg's Tuesday very popular Tuesday afternoon class.  The class starts next Tuesday, so if you're interested, give me a call quick!  Here's the official scoop:

Tuesdays with Nancy

Spend Tuesday afternoons with well-known designer and teacher Nancy Lindberg for a fun break in the day!  Nancy has been teaching knitting for 35 years, and her popular patterns have been sold in yarn shops throughout the country for 15 years.  In this summer session, Nancy will take you through the many techniques in the book Knitter's Companion .  Take advantage of this great resource at Double Ewe;  challenge yourself and choose any project - Nancy's expert advice will help you through it. 

When:  Tuesday afternoons

Dates:  July 19th - August 22nd (6 weeks)

Time:  1:00 - 3:00

Cost:  $60 per person

Our Expanded Classroom

Have you seen this?  These fun, flouncy scarves are a big hit this season.  The yarn (hehe, if you can call it yarn) is called Marina, and all you need is one skein, some needles and a few hours.  Instant gratification!    

This lovely pile of yarn arrived yesterday. It's Dream in Color's new Sun Scorched colors in Smooshy (fingering) and Classy (worsted).  Really, the picture doesn't do it justice.  It's just gorgeous!
