Greetings!
It was good chatting to you, here is the info as promised.
Bottom line, Mike Baker is headed to Champagne Castle for the CAPSA conference between the 11th and 15th of September; he handles the exhibition marketing portfolio for Much Asphalt (A subsidiary of Murray & Roberts).
Mike is the marketing director at tourismZA and is very keen to get and as many other tourism companies in the region into the tourismZA network. Mike went to school in Underberg; he is passionate about and knows your part of the world well. This would be an ideal opportunity for him to do a tourism industry review of the area and send it out via the tourismZA network. At the same time, this would also be an opportunity to personally introduce tourismZA and show you how the tourismZA network will put bums in your beds.

Email Marketing Workshops
|
Would you be interested in attending or hosting an email marketing best practices workshop?
The workshop will demonstrate just how easy it is to send out a professional newsletter and more importantly how to get the best results.
To try and maximise Mike's availability a few people have asked if he would host an Email marketing best practices workshop. If there are five people or more that are interested we will set up a 3 hour workshop within striking distance of Underberg and Himeville between 09h30 and 12h30 on Thursday 15th September.

Email Marketing Platform
|
One of the marketing tool sets provided by tourismZA is the online email marketing platform. This platform requires no technical skills or downloads. You simply log in, select a template that works for you from more than 400 templates we have already set up for you - this email is an example of just one of those templates - and then copy and paste your images and text.
Once sent, you can track who opened your email, what was of interest to them and get a response. All this happens in real time. You can even motivate and track referrals; there is no advertising better than word of mouth.

The primary function of tourismZA is to put bums in your beds. We do this in two ways;
- By networking you to targeted tourism sectors that are motivated to bring their business to you. For example if you provide accommodation then you need to be in contact with tour operators, event organisers, booking agents etc.
- By letting active tourists know who you are, where you are and what you offer. More to the point the tourismZA card proactively gets these travellers to you.
Food for thought, how much did you pay to attend the Tourism Indaba in Durban? Now consider that most of the delegates who attended Indaba 2011 have opted into receiving information from tourismZA. They account for about 1300 of the 5000 plus companies we have in our contacts. All of whom can be reached by you.
Membership costs a whole lot less than you think and you pay as you go. The sooner you register the sooner we can start sending business your way.
