Managed Medicaid Update
Here is another update regarding the OMH Managed Medicaid Changes.
OMH/Medicaid Notification OMH/Medicaid has notified everyone to HOLD billing for Managed Medicaid pending release of a new version of the 3M grouper
Managed Medicaid Companies While a few of the Managed Medicaid companies have sent communication with details of how they want claims formatted, most have not. It is not clear that they are ready to process the institutional claims. I recommend communicating with each of them directly to clarify if they are ready for the Institutional claims already and if not, what they would like providers to do. Please share with us whatever you learn.
Patient Billing Header
IMA has created a utility that finds all Managed Medicaid clients that have MD in their billing order and automatically expires the MD coverage on 8/31/12. This will be released with 19.2
Service Billing
We are adding a feature to "Insurance Plan Definitions" to allow for a plan to be configured to use HCFA forms for services dated prior to 9/1 and UB forms for all services from 9/1 and on.
APG Billing
We continue work to add an option for printing UB forms in APG billing. We hope to be able to release this feature within two weeks.
Version 19.2
Version 19.2 is still being finalized and documented. We are working to be able to release in the next few days.
