|
Apart from APG implementation, there is lots more happening in our industry and here at IMA. Here is an update of what is new from IMA to assist you.
Meaningful Use
Now that the IMA Desktop is a Certified Full EHR, it is up to you, the providers, to implement its features in order to demonstrate meaningful use. Please join us for a webinar on Tuesday March 6 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM hosted by Georgeanne Biancarosa to review IMA Meaningful Use features and modules. You can reserve a spot using this link IMA has developed, in conjunction with one of our customers, a new set of tools for monitoring SED Children. The features included in this module are:- Client listing: Provides a list of all children with their episode start date, admission date, diagnosis, and GAF
- SED Assessment: Monitors that an SED Assessment has been done and display the assessment date and score
- Clinical and Billing SED Designation: Allow for separate Clinical SED designation and Billing SED designation (for clients with managed Medicaid) and monitor that these settings are consistent with the assessment result.
- Optum Health: Print the forms needed to send to Optum Health
- Check the MEVS eligibility response for indication that client is in Managed Medicaid
- Check for billable services prior to SED Assessment
If your agency is interested in these features, please contact Barry Samel to discuss. Fiscal - Writeoffs, Denials, and Suspense
Version 19.1 contains a number of new tools for managing denials, write-offs, and suspense. If you are not familiar with these service line management tolls, please contact the helpdesk to schedule some training.
ePrescribing QA report We have a new QA report that matches med visits to eprescriptions. It can be used to check if the "ePrescribing check box" was set and also to calculate ePrescribing statistics.
OASAS Monthly PRU
We are almost finished with development of the new OASAS Monthly PRU report. We hope to release it within two weeks. We have been told that OASAS has extended the deadline on this reporting until March 2012.
Foster CareAgencies who treat children in foster care need to track these admissions and visits in order to bill them to the foster care agency (instead of Medicaid). The simple way to do this would be to set the foster care agency as a payer much like any other insurance plan. A few customers have asked us about adding enhancements for custom billing forms, unique data collection, and some custom reporting. If this is applicable to you and you want our help please contact Barry Samel to discuss.
