This week, as faithful people throughout the world observe Holy Week remembering the cruelty, suffering, injustice and violence endured by Jesus, our own communities in Oakland, and just blocks away from our church building at Eddy and Divisadero are experiencing tragedy, loss, and bloodshed. As a congregation we seek Christ in every person striving to create a community where everyone matters. Tonight, we gather with our neighborhood and pray for all victims of violence. Stations of the Cross will follow the march and vigil.
Tonight 6:15 p.m. Stop the Killing, Start the Healing - Vigil for Neighborhood Homicide Victim begins at corner of Eddy & Fillmore with march to Eddy & Divisadero. Members of St. Cyprian's & neighbors gather to grieve, and pray for an end to violence in our community. Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. (note new time) unique service incorporating sanctuary artwork by Nat Lewis
Thursday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. Maundy Thursday with Rite of Footwashing, Communion, ending with stripping of the Altar 
Friday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. Good Friday The Seven Last Words & Veneration of the Cross Sunday, April 8 at 10:10 a.m. Easter Sunday: The Feast of the Resurrection Lively celebration followed by home-style meal
