Greetings!
There was a "glitch" in the survey instrument that was sent out a few days ago. With the help of the company (Survey Monkey), we have been able to correct the survey so it can collect data online. Those of you who filled in the survey offline and faxed it back, many thanks! If you logged off because of the error, please try again. The data collected is of great importance to local governments throughout the State. It has been several years since the FDEP conducted a survey of Florida communities for a comparison of tipping fees, user fees and customer charges. With the new 75% recycling goal on the horizon for many solid waste agencies, and the uncertainties in the national and state economies, it can be expected that many communities will need to compare their rates with other similar agencies. Attached is a brief survey, which we hope you will participate. Once the data are collected and analyzed, we will summarize and publish the results. Our goal is to continue this survey and publish the results annually. A special thank you to all participants who have responded and helped make this survey a success. Contact information is noted in the email if you have any questions or comments. |
