is over - and it was active..

With 19 tropical storms, Hurricane season 2011, which ended november 30, tied 2010, 1995 and 1887 as the third most active on record.
Only the 2005 season, with 28 storms, and the 1933 season, with 21, were more active than 2011 — the average number of tropical storms in a Hurricane season is 9.6.
