This is the third consecutive year that South Florida is still going through the tough economic environment. It is a very challenging time for roofing companies and the construction businessin general. More or less we got through, and the company has a better look now! Some of the reasons: Our Customer base has expanded and is still loyal, and it’s our best satisfaction. We started a Referral Reward Program about 2 years ago, which has neem workin really well. Congratulations to Charlie Kane from Kane Waterproofing for being the largest contributor.

Accomplishments

Better Business Bureau Rated A+, Business Forum INC for Networking, and O.S.H.A. Compliance for safety are some of our accomplishments.

Also, we launched our monthly newsletter a few months ago to improve our communication with our existing customers and partners. It has been a real success considering the positive comments. We are happy to see new subscribers joining us every month.

The last quarter has seen the acquisition of Ampco Coatings, certified contractor for Duro-Last roof system and Astec Coatings. Single Ply Membrane and coating are now part of our line of services for Commercial and Industrial Roof. With Ampco office located in Lake Worth, we now cover effectively the tri county area. With the organization in place and more projects scheduled, we are excited about what’s coming up in 2011.

We are fortunate to say that we have been able to help a lot of new people with their “Roofing” projects.

The purchase of Ampco Coating will complete our range of services. Our scope of work was already including Built up Roofs, Sheet Metal, Shingle & Tile Roofs (Re-Roofs, Repairs, and Maintenance) and now will also provide Astec and Duro-Last Systems

We will continue servicing all of South Florida with our 3 offices in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach and wish to maintain our relationship with our customers and partners for years to come.

Poinsettias

A native Mexican plant, poinsettias were named after Joel R. Poinsett, U.S. ambassador to Mexico who brought the plant to America in 1828. Poinsettias were likely used by Mexican Franciscans in their 17th century Christmas celebrations. A beautiful star-shaped flower appeared on each branch. The bright red petals, often mistaken for flowers, are actually the upper leaves of the plant.
