Here is Andy Shaw and his buddy Bob Gallagher showing off their 61" Sturgeon landed over in Napa two days ago. Nice work guys! Danny from Leonard's caught this 25.5" Bass on Grass while working today. The Bass bite has been more than good in our river. Rene is shown here with his 5th place fish, a 58" Sturgeon he caught last week here at Petaluma. Nice catch Rene!

We pride ourselves with having the freshest bait on the bay. As the only bait shop on the bay with their own shrimp boat we can live up to that claim. We are open 365 days a year at 6:30am. Come on down and say hi to a friendly face.

Fishing Update |
APRIL'S FISHING DERBY IS STILL ON!BASS SIZE: 30"STURGEON SIZE: 541/2" The derby ends on Sunday April 29th at noon! Bring your friends and family down for a fun Pig roast event. We will hand out the prizes at this time. There will be plenty of food and fun. Save the date and see you all then!
- ***Petaluma River***: The best bass and Sturgeon bite I have experienced. We had three over-sized sturgeon caught in a matter of hours up river last Sunday by Danny and others (see video below). As well as limits of bass being reported by multiple customers!
- San Pablo Bay: Bass and Sturgeon are still the ticket. We did hear of a bat ray caught out there. The crabs seem to be a lil thicker out here than in the river systems.
- Sonoma Creek: Few reports from this area. This doesn't necessarily mean it has been bad but just limited reports back from this area.
- Napa River: Sam just called (3:00pm) us to let us know they caught 2 nice keeper Sturgeon "up river" in Napa on Grass shrimp. They were 48" and 52". B & H guide service fished this Napa yesterday and reported a shaker sturgeon and quite a bit of Bass. We just had Mike leave after measuring his 29.5" bass caught on a Mudsucker up river.
- Be careful coming into our slough at low tide. The mud is pretty thick and if you can just stop by before you launch. We would hate to see you guys mess up your engine kicking up mud on the bottom of a tide.
Special thanks to "Atomic Casino Parties" for donating a free poker night casino party. Includes Table, chairs, chips and all! We will have a free drawing on Sunday for those that show up for the BBQ. See their website below:
