AHP Bay Watch in 2011
Catamaran Resort
Catamaran Resort
The 2011 San Diego Seminar will be held at the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa (www.catamaranresorts.com) on Mission Bay in San Diego, California on June 16-18. AHP members submitted suggestions for a seminar name and the AHP Board narrowed the field to three contenders - Hoofprints on the Sand, Saddles, Sun & Sand, and Seaside Seminar. The final decision is in the hands of the members who can vote for their favorite in an online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/NameSanDiego

The San Diego area has much to offer beyond the beaches as well so plan to extend your stay and explore. The San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau provides the inspiration so visit their web site at www.seeyouinsandiego.com/nav/Visitors

A weblink for making room reservations will soon be available. The standard garden room rate is $159 single/double, a great deal compared to the published $299 summer rate.

Watch for your 2011 Membership Renewal Notices
Renewal notices will be in your mailbox by December 1st.  Please renew as soon as possible so you will not have your AHP services interrupted for 2011.

Colonial Williamsburg Selected as 2012 Seminar Site
Colonial Williamsburg is American history brought to life and staying on the property for a convention is a blend of Colonial and modern times. The Woodlands Hotel & Suites is a unique convention site situated on the boundary of Colonial Williamsburg at the Visitor Welcome Center. It was built in 2001 so it contains modern amenities with colonial dcor.

Room rates are affordable. The $119 rate is for spacious rooms with two double beds; $149 rate is for a suite with king bedroom and a queen sleeper in the separate sitting area. To take advantage for cooler climate and less crowds, the 2012 seminar has been scheduled for May 31 to June 2. For a preview, visit www.colonialwilliamsburg.org.

The AHP Board of Directors meets in Williamsburg on October 20-21, 2010.
