 Greetings!

Welcome back to our newsletter, and hello to our new subscribers! We are officially back from our travels and are now waiting for our fresh picks to arrive at our store. I wanted to share with you a few of our finds that really impressed us:

Have you ever heard of a company called Klippan? A maker of beautiful handmade textiles, Klippan has run their business since 1879 . Quality and attention to detail make these environmentally friendly throws and cushions destined to be passed down to future generations.

We are also eager to receive our pictures from WT Designs, we went with color because it compliments well with the cream sofas and lighter tones that are making their way into your homes.

Custom Framing

 Framing Corner

More than 800 frame samples hang on our wall and each of these are part of a collection. Each collection starts with a point of interest coming from surprising sources, for example the Aegean collection is inspired by the Aegean Sea and its surrounding colors. Who would have thought? Here are a few samples, can you see what they see?

The Prague collection is reminiscent of the Baroque Architecture of Prague. Very ornate and traditional!

Mantel Ideas 101

Hello! Three Customers came in this week with the same problem, what to do above a fireplace on the mantle.

We're going to give you an easy step by step guide to play with, but do remember that decor rules are meant to be broken, so don't be afraid to inject your own twist!

Step 1

Mirrors for Light and Layers, Pictures for Color

Mirrors are a great option because it remains a neutral backdrop and enables you to theme your mantle vignette according to seasons, mood or current color obsession. I'm partial to round, but that's a matter of preference. Pictures on the other hand, can serve well if there is a particular color you would like to carry over in your space. Also,if you have an open concept home where wall space is scarce, it can be a great place to create a focal point. Here are a few options:

Step 2

Decorate and Accessorize Ideas

 Minimalist vs Maximalist

Some like more, and some like the "less is more" approach, we believe there is no right or wrong way to go, as long as it makes you happy to come home!

Staged Vs Personalized

A staged area is welcoming since colors and composition flow seamlessly together, it gives a clean lined look. A personalized area can be a fun conversation starter as you can display collections and cherished mementos!
Which one do you like the best?
