Waste Industries presents Chamber's 1st Golden Swing
| August 23-24, 2012 |
What happens when you combine the Chamber's exciting Gold Coast Raffle with the well-established Brightleaf Golf Tournament? You have the 1st Annual Golden Swing! And this year's event promises to be fun for ALL Chamber members and guests.
It's the 1920s. Charles Lindbergh was flying across the Atlantic Ocean, Babe Ruth was hitting home runs, Henry Ford was mass producing cars. It was the height of prohibition - Cab Calloway and Duke Ellington were performing in "Speakeasies," where flappers and gangsters were known to roam. "The Roaring Twenties" is the theme for this year's Golden Swing.
On Thursday, August 23 at Hinnant Family Vineyards, take a chance at winning $5,000 in gold, enjoy swing music and the "Speakeasy" wines from Hinnant.
On Friday, August 24 at the Country Club of Johnston County, play in one of Johnston County's premier golf tournaments, with more prizes, food and fun than any of the others.
