100 volunteers ready for the 'Membership Event of the Year'
Opportunity knocks...because your Chamber of Commerce is the information resource for the Smithfield-Selma area, answering dozens of requests each day and promoting every member..
Opportunity knocks... because the Chamber is working to project a positve image of the community and working to promote better communication and collaboration among various private and public entities.
Opportunity knocks... because the Chamber is voice for business and can develop the necessary resources to effectively impact major issues.
Opportunity knocks... because the Chamber provides its members the resources and networking opportunities to be successful.
Opportunity will knock on December 7-9 as 100 volunteer members will ask others in our community to join the Chamber.

Outback Steakhouse receives Visual Improvement Award
The Chamber has given its Visual Improvement Award to Outback Steakhouse, located at 911 Industrial Park Drive in Smithfield. The restaurant recently painted its building and enhanced its landscaping. Members decorate Chamber office
Michelle Brinson stands beside the Christmas tree she and her husband, NC Farm Bureau Insurance Agent Keith Brinson, placed in the foyer of the Chamber office. Also decorating a room were: Casey's Florist, 231 Market Printing and the Partnership for Children of Johnston County. Downtown Smithfield hosting window display competition
The Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation, The Herald, WTSB 1090AM, and WMPM 1270AM are hosting a Christmas Window Display competition for Downtown Smithfield businesses this holiday season. The competition entitled "Return of the Magic" will give businesses an opportunity to express their creativity, while the voting public will have a chance to win some extra Christmas cash... _____________ |
