New bike racks ready for "Cycle Smithfield"

Visitors to Downtown Smithfield will see the addition of functional art in the form of bicycle-shaped bicycle racks.  The racks, which each hold four bikes, were installed in preparation for Cycle Smithfield on October 8.  The kick-off event is meant to encourage people who work in Downtown Smithfield to ride their bicycles to work on Fridays, when many workplaces allow more casual attire.
