Chamber will celebrate milestone with 40th Anniversary dinner
Artist Carolyn Howard unvields a watercolor print of the Chamber office during the dedication of the building in 1989. The Chamber will begin selling twenty limited edition prints of the watercolor at the dinner with an auction of the four lowest- numbered prints. | The Chamber will honor its 40th Anniversary at a Celebration Event on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Johnston Community College Great Hall. Members are invited to attend this special occassion as we honor our past and prepare for the future.
The evening will include dinner, entertainment by the Bill Joe Austin Tribute Band, and presentations by special guests from the Chamber's past. Reservations are required before September 8th.

Chamber member's son
has kidney transplant
Marshall Taylor, 14 year old son of Raymond James Investment Advisor Phil Taylor, completed a long-awaited kidney transplant operation on September 2. The surgery took place at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Marshall was born with bi-lateral kidney disease but was only diagnosed in 2005. His aunt, Karen M. Nassif Tyner, was the donor. Marshall and his family welcome your prayers and concerns. You may contact him:
