Greetings!
Since the program's inception in 2000, the Siebel Scholars community has grown to over 540 leaders from 16 of the world's top graduate schools in bioengineering, computer science, and business. Through our annual conferences and ongoing regional events, Siebel Scholars have the unique opportunity to directly influence the technologies, policies, and economic and social decisions that shape the future. In just the past few months, Siebel Scholars have explored fragile marine ecosystems aboard the Alguita research vessel, seen the inner workings of the
Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and helped plan the Energy and Climate conference and our inaugural trip to China. Throughout the year, Siebel Scholars are highlighted via Featured Scholars segments, providing insight into many of these accomplished individuals. Looking at just a small cross-section, Siebel Scholars have launched more than 250 products, sit on 70 Boards, started and sold at least 20 companies,
and manage over $700 billion - all while volunteering over 8,000 hours a year. We look forward to welcoming 80
new Siebel Scholars to our community this August. As a distinguished friend
of the Siebel Scholars Foundation, we encourage you to meet the Siebel Scholars and join discussions via our online community. Launched this past fall, our private community website allows Siebel Scholars
to network, arrange events, manage mentoring and working
relationships - including job opportunities - and discuss the world's most
pressing issues. Please contact us at ssf@siebel.org to receive your login and password, and for more ideas on how you can connect with our dynamic community. Sincerely, Karen Roter Davis Executive Director |
