Bayside Kitchen & Bath-Open House on Saturday

For 40 years, Earth Day has been an April celebration about the connection we have to our natural environment. This Saturday, the Bayside Kitchen and Bath's open house series will bring that connection into a home's most intimate spaces -- the kitchen and bath which will feature the timely topic of green remodeling. The showroom will be open tomorrow - Saturday, April 24th from 10:00 am to noon for members of the community.

Green building and remodel has been a hot topic as of late. This month we would like to introduce you to Andrew Borgese of Synergy Design Build Co.in Falmouth, an integrated and collaborative effort involving architects, engineers and builders whose mission is to reduce energy consumption, with a focus on health, safety and comfort. Mr. Borgese, a Leed Accredited architect will focus on environmentally sensitive product selection and energy efficient systems for kitchens and baths. Bayside Owner, Mark Lane will review the green practices of Bayside Kitchen as well the Environmental Stewardship Designation program offered by the national Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer's Association (KCMA).

In honor of Earth Month, Bayside will host complimentary organic beverages and locally made sweets. For those who attend the Open House this month, they will receive a "Save the Sales Tax" coupon which is another way to celebrate the month of April. The burden of income tax filings are now behind us and it's time to celebrate spring and Earth Month provides the footprint to which we can follow.
