Q: What will my initial consultation for a landscape project be like?
A: First, you will describe your ideas, wants and needs to the estimator. You will want to have a budget in mind. A reputable landscape contractor's pricing will not change based on your budget. However, scope of work can be adjusted to match your budget. This is why it is important to have your priorities in mind as well. Your estimator will collect pictures and measurements. Your initial consultation will take anywhere from 30-60 minutes just depending on how many questions you may have. Finally, an estimate and landscape image design will be presented during a second consultation. From there, you are free to ask questions and discuss the ins and outs of the project. You may even want to request to see some material samples as well as past and current projects the company has completed or is working on.
