| Mulch Pricing for Spring 2010
As another way to help our clients save this year, we would like to open the availability of service contract pricing for everyone's mulch install. Have us install your mulch and pay $38 per yard of mulch and $25 per yard installation for a total of $63 per yard of mulch installed! This includes a free application of pre-emergent for your beds to help combat weed growth. Bed cleanups and shrub trims can be quoted separately. Give us a call and we'll help you figure out how much mulch you will need and get you on the schedule. |

Q: Do I really need fresh mulch in the spring for my plants? What is the real benefit?
A: Mulching landscape beds is very important to the health and well being of your plants. Mulch conserves moisture in the plant's root zone, helps prevent weed growth, stabilizes soil tempuratures which helps prevent stress on the plant during the gradual spring warm up, increases water infiltration and prevents soil compaction. A new layer of mulch also makes a landscape bed look fresh again after a long winter. Application rate should be at about a 2-3inch depth. |
