Stained Glass WindowFrom Cathy Gould,
Church Deacon

"Who is our neighbor?"  The answer is anyone who needs our help.  So what is our duty to our neighbor who is in trouble?  It is to help them.  We here at Christ the King surely know how to help our neighbors.  Look at what we did with raising funds for the Malaria nets.  Many lives will be saved. Consider the "work campers" who were commissioned on Sunday.  They surely know what it is to be a neighbor and help those in need.  Our Wednesday Night B-B-Q's are a great way of helping a neighbor by sharing fellowship around the tables.  Another way is just showing the love of Christ.  We sure know how to show Christ's love!  When new people come, I believe we show them what it is to feel the love of Christ by just being an open and welcoming congregation.  We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful people who truly know what "our neighbor" means!
