The first update for this week is a reminder. Daylight Savings Time begins this week! Don't forget to set your clocks AHEAD one hour on Saturday night.
We are also gearing up for HUNT! This year we are going more high-tech with team sign ups, allowing you to sign up online for your team and to let us know if you'd like to buy a New Life Shirt. Be sure to also check the dates for the various HUNT activities, including the team meeting immediately after church on March 21. Pastor Adam will be leading this meeting to guide the teams with an outreach message as we prepare for this fun community event.

| HUNT TEAM SIGNUPS AND KEY DATES!
Please Sign Up to serve on our teams for the Hunt! We need volunteers and team leaders in all areas.
You can also use the Team sign up form to let us know if you'd like to buy a New Life shirt. We are putting together a new order, so now is the time to get your shirts!
KEY DATES:
- February 27 - Candy Collection Begins (Remember those Costco 530 bags!)
- February 27 - Team Sign-ups begin on the Welcome Table
- March 21 - HUNT Team meeting immediately after service in the WGMS Library led by Pastor Adam
- March 27 - Flyer distribution and prayer walk in the Doerr Park Neighborhood
- March 28 - Egg Stuffing Party at the New Life office
- April 3 - HUNT!

Wednesday Morning Bible Study
March 10 and March 17 - No Meeting
Due to travel and schedule conflicts for Pastor Kevin, the Wednesday Morning Bible Study will NOT be meeting on March 10 or March 17. This group will resume on March 24. |
Prayer and Evangelism Team
March 10 - No Meeting
The Prayer and Evangelism Team will not meet on March 10, but will resume on March 17 from 7-8 pm at Pastor Kevin's home (5044 Tottenham Court, San Jose). Come take part in our weekly prayer and evangelism gathering! Children are welcome.

Drivers Needed!
Sundays at 9:30am and 11:45am
 The Sherman Oaks Transition House is full of new residents and many of them would like the opportunity to attend New Life for church each Sunday. We are putting together a team of drivers to take weekly rotations for pick up and 9:30am and drop off after service. If you can help with this service, please contact Andrea as soon as possible ( andrealee@newlifesanjose.org). We are currently putting together a schedule for March and April. Please let us know dates you would be available to help and the number of people you could transport. There is also a need for transporting car seats, so if you cannot install a car seat, let us know as well. Thank you! |

Good Friday Evening Service
April 2
 Please join us for a shared Good Friday Evening Service with The Bridge Community Church.
We will gather at 7pm in the Edenvale Room at Hayes Mansion in San Jose (200 Edenvale Ave. San Jose, 95136). Click here for directions.

Springs Retreat for Women
April 14-16
 The Springs Retreat at St. Anthony's Retreat Center in beautiful Three Rivers, California, is just a few weeks away and there is still room for you. The dates are Wednesday, April 14 (Noon) to Friday, April 16 (noon). All rooms are private rooms with private bathrooms. Bedding and towels are provided. $255 includes 2 nights and 5 meals. Registration forms will be available on the Welcome Table on Sunday or if you prefer you can register and use PayPal on the NEWIM web site ( http://www.newim.com).
