Message to the Council
from Tracy Techau, Scout Executive
Greetings!
I am honored to join the Atlanta Area Council as Scout Executive, and I look forward to serving the youth and volunteer leaders of this Council. I am eager to begin an exciting chapter in the rich Scouting history of the Atlanta Area Council.
My leadership role with the Council began on December 1, 2009. Throughout the past month I have had the opportunity to begin meeting with the Scouts and volunteers that comprise this dynamic community. As I begin looking forward to 2010, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to move Scouting into the next century. I encourage every member of this Council to rally around Scouting during our celebration, and specifically help us spread the word of this landmark anniversary beginning on February 8, 2010! |
