Two Performances Remaining, Sept. 7th and 8th
Ocean City Theatre Company proudly presents Anything Goes!
With the Ocean City POPS Orchestra
Rounding out the 2010 Summer Season of the Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) and the Ocean City POPS, is the Musical Comedy, Anything Goes!

Set aboard a cruise ship in the 1930s, Anything Goes is a musical farce with a score by Cole Porter. Many of musical sections have become American standards: Itʼs Delovely, Friendship, I Get a Kick out of You, and more! The historic Ocean City Music Pier will be a perfect venue for such a vintage affair of fabulous music and dazzling dance set aboard the S.S. American cruise liner.
Maestro William Scheible conducts the Ocean City POPS Orchestra as shipboard shenanigans, terrific tapping, spectacular costumes, contagious music and hilarious comedy comes to life on stage with a cast of professional singers, dancers and actors from across the country.
Kelly Swartz, a graduate of New York University serves as Choreographer with Staging Direction by OCTC Artistic Director, Michael Hartman. Kelly Martin an accomplished pianist and Music Director will over see music for the cast.

You can still catch this hilarious Broadway Musical on Sept. 7 and 8 at 7:30 pm at the Ocean City Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk.
This production is appropriate for all ages and the perfect outing for any group.
We are offering special rates for groups of 20 people or more and it is a perfect event for Student/Senior Groups, Red Hat Societies, Church Groups, etc. If you are interested in a group rate, please contact the Ocean City Annex at (609) 525-9300.

Some other key info on cast members...
Allyson Pace stars as the bold, belting, Reno Sweeney. Allyson was last seen as the crabby Lucy in CHARLIE BROWN and appeared as a featuring soloist with the OC Pops at their Cole Porter Concert held earlier in the season. Pace recently made an Off-Broadway debut in CHILDREN OF EDEN as a Narrator.
Mike Shultz returns to the OC stage as the song and dance man, Billy Crocker, Shultz is a recent graduate of the Musical Theatre Program at Penn State University and just completed a International contract at the Walters Theater is Canada.
Jenny Piersol creates the love lost Hope Harcourt in ANYTHING GOES. She last served as Co-Choreographer to OCTC's production of OKLAHOMA and appeared as Minnie Fay in last year's HELLO, DOLLY! Piersol is a resident of NYC and has performed at Fulton Opera House and Hunterdon Hills Playhouse
Bobby Underwood makes his OCTC debut as Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin. Underwood spent most of his summer performing at Millbrook Playhouse in Pennsylvania.
Ashley Blasland returns to OCTC as Bonnie, the hilarious sidekick to Moonface. Blasland has a vast performing resume including performances at the Roxy Regional Theater in TN, Heritage Repertory Theater in VA and Theater Ban in NY.

GAMP Concert Choir
Justin D. Gonzalez | The Girard Academic Music Program's Concert Choir appears with tenor Justin Gonzalez and pianist Yang Bao plays Beethoven with the Ocean City POPS.
Hear this exciting young pianist who studies with Curtis Faculty member Meng-Chieh Liu perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto #4 with the POPS and the choir sing patriotic and Broadway favorites.
The Girard Academic Music Program began operation in September 1974 as an alternative program within the Stephen Girard School at 18th and Snyder Avenue in Philadelphia.
It began with one 4th and one 5th grade class of approximately 55 students, 2 academic teachers, 1 teacher's aide and 1 music teacher/coordinator. They were the pioneers who initiated the academic and musical success of the school.
Today, GAMP has grown to its present size of a staff of 30 and over 500 students that include grades 5 through 12. With a 98% - 100% college acceptance rate among each senior class and scholarships valued at over one to two million dollars yearly, GAMP continues to grow in stature within the city of Philadelphia.
The Concert Choir is the premier performance ensemble at GAMP and has performed for Bill Clinton, the Philadelphia Phillies, and many other local political and district officials.

Enjoy A Night in Vienna, featuring the Pops orchestra and singers. This is an annual Music Pier favorite and will feature an evening of Strauss marches, polkas and waltzes.
