Simply Sinatra
Ocean City Pops Presents Steve Lippia

Ocean City, NJ - The Ocean City Pops Orchestra, William Scheible, Artistic Director, presents Simply Sinatra with Steve Lippia on Tuesday, August 3rd and Wednesday, August 4th at 8:00 PM. Be sure not to miss this exciting singer in a night of swinging standards and great pop music. The concerts take place at the POPS' historic performance venue, The Music Pier, located at Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk. Steve Lippia

   Steve Lippia has become one of the most prominent, in-demand vocalists and has quickly established his place among the finest interpreters of standards and traditional pop music in the nation. Steve's youthful, energetic talent and powerful show creates a perfect blend of classic with today. His show introduces a new generation to this timeless music, while appealing to long-time listeners.

   Steve has headlined in highly successful, extended engagements at the Rio Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and Resorts Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, where audiences lined up more than two hours before show time to vie for seating. He has also headlined the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York City, backed by the Nelson Riddle and Woody Herman big bands, has performed with orchestras across the country, and has made TV appearances on Extra, FOX's Good Day New York, CNN's Showbiz Today, ABC and the BBC.

Meet Orchestra Event

   Join the Friends of the Ocean City Pops (FOCP) for a special "Meet the Orchestra" gathering on Wednesday, August 4th, 2010.

   The event will be held before the concert, from 5 to 7 pm.

   This is a perfect opportunity to meet our renowned Ocean City Pops Orchestra in person. The Pops members are a delightful group and you'll really enjoy their company. Afterwards, you should be able to put a name with the face and instrument on stage at the Music Pier.

   Light refreshments catered by Boyar's Market of Ocean City.

   Sign Up: Reservations needed by Aug. 1st, at the latest. The event is limited to the first 80 persons who respond. Contact a FOCP volunteer at the Friends Merchandise Table, during a concert this week and fill out an information form. Reservations can also be emailed directly to Mary Anne McGrath at thomas_mcgrath@comcast.net

   Tickets: $10. per person and includes food and beverage
