Stephen Costello returns to the Pops and joins Colleen Daly and Marcus Beam to sing operatic arias by Puccini, Bellini, Donizetti, Gounod, and other favorite songs.

Mr. Costello makes his debut at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden to open the 2009-2010 season in concert performances of Carlo in Linda di Chamounix, followed by performances of Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi. The tenor then makes his Lyric Opera of Chicago debut as Camille in The Merry Widow. He sings Roméo in Roméo et Juliette at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, and subsequently debuts at San Diego Opera in the same role. Stephen Costello originates the role of Ishmael in the world premiere of Jake Heggie's Moby Dick at the Dallas Opera in the Spring of 2010, and completes his season with a return to Deutsche Oper Berlin for Rodolfo in La bohème, followed by his debut at Cincinnati Opera for further performances of the signature role.

Future seasons will find his return to the Metropolitan Opera for the opening production of the 2011-2012 season, and debuts with San Francisco Opera, the Glyndebourne Festival,and the Wiener Staatsoper.
