Orange Blossom Special. Alex DePue, violinist, and Miguel De Hoyos, acoustical guitarist and vocalist, will perform
The Fiddler's Fare and other songs as a duo or individually.
Violinist Alex DePue won his first major competition at the age of 10 and has appeared as a classical soloist through out the country. He also has an interest in improvisational music, or fiddling. Alex has been ranked among the top ten fiddlers in the nation at the Grand Masters Fiddling Championship in Nashville, TN. Alex currently tours with Capitol Recording artist Chris Cagle, with whom he regularly appears at the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Television.
Professional acoustical guitarist and vocalist, Miguel De Hoyos, a native of Monterrey, Mexico began studying with his father, Ing. Roque de Hoyos when he was twelve. Since that time, Miguel studied with several of Mexico's finest instructors and developed his own neoclassical style. He plays everything from the Beatles to the classics.
