Classes!
We will now be offering a few introductory classes at Enfleurage. Stacy and Christina will be teaching. Every other Sunday night, starting with September 19, from 6:30 to 7:30, we will offer a one hour talk on a variety of topics. The cost of all evenings is $20, and $10 of this can be applied to any purchases made at Enfleurage that evening only.

Sandalwood
Every time a new sandalwood oil comes in we hold our breath, watch and wonder. How will it be? Every delightful, delicious shipment that crosses our threshold makes us yelp with delight and our latest arrival is no exception. Santalum album from Indonesia! He's warm and sweet, woody and wonderful, like a secret little treat you enjoy when you're alone, heart racing in anticipation. He's a smiling little Buddha, a whirling little vortex, a sublime harmony, and a sensual escape. He grows slowly, and he must grow with someone, requiring a lover and best friend to nourish him. This photo above is a young sandalwood sapling (on the right), together with his soul mate and sweet treat, the agarwood sapling (on the left!)

Patchouli
Indonesia is most famous for Patchouli and we love our strong Sumatran Adonis. Deep, rich, earthy and dark, his strength and staying power are legendary! A feast of loam and love from the emerald rain forests, dripping velvet, and swimming in overwhelming pleasure and passion. His lighter notes are there, as well, a distant tickle of mint molasses, which very nicely sets off those intoxicating male melodies.

Lotus!
We are happy and proud as always to receive our new lotus from Thailand. These are our very favorite Lotus absolutes, even if we don't get to spend much time with them--they have a tendency to race out of the store as fast as they come in. But here at last I've caught some and let me just say that the Pink Lotus absolute and the Blue Waterlily Absolute are wildly feminine, fascinating and beguiling. Multi-layered and lush, floral finery is only one part of these intense oils. The more you smell, the closer you get to understanding and experiencing the essence of nirvana. As anyone who has held a lotus flower, and parted the sweet petals, burrowing their nose into that center pod of pleasure, and inhaling all the complicated delights of this flower will know, she holds a universe of secrets within her silken folds.
We also have the dried flowers of Pink lotus, White Lotus, Blue Lotus (waterlily) and Lotus stamens only.
