Call for Local Handmade Aromatics and Aromatherapy Starter Kits

Hello Everyone

Spring is here at last! I'm back in New York for a while, and pleased to announce we're making a few interesting changes in the store.

I spent the winter in Oman and India, distilling frankincense and scouting for rare and precious essential oils.

You can read something about that on my blog, absolutetrygve; the link is given below. Also, obscure restaurant reviews.

    Calling Local Artists!

After years of dealing with companies whose products can be found everywhere, we have decided to showcase local artists. We will be accepting some locally made aromatic products on consignment. So if you live within a commute of nyc, and make soap, candles, skin care, incense, or something else interesting and aromatic then we would be interested in talking to you. You can email for details or just bring some samples by Enfleurage (Bleecker Street between Christopher and Grove.) We are not interested in resellers but in locally and handmade goods.

Questions? Please email me at
trygve@enfleurage.com or just call the store.

Aromatherapy Starter Kits!

Stacy has used our pretty silk Thai boxes to make essential oil starter kits! 12 of our most  useful essential oils and the book Essential Aromatherapy by Susan Worwood and Valerie Worwood accompanies it. If you're already an aromatherapy enthusiast, you can customize your essential oil selection. Boxes are orange silk with a pink lotus and hold 12 essential oils.

A Gift of Sight and Communication

We are still collecting eyeglasses and cell phones for South Sudan. Christina is going there in April, and these glasses are much appreciated. We are accepting all kinds of spectacles and old mobile phones (they don't have to work) at Enfleurage. South Sudan has been battered by wars, famine, drought, disease and terror for more than 30 years. Reading glasses and mobile phones are enormously appreciated.

Any questions? Please call or email.

That's it from me for now. Thanks for reading this and hope to hear from you soon
Aromatically Yours
