Mysore Sandalwood
!

No one was more shocked than I when a visitor walked in with a large and aged bottle of sandalwood oil from the State distillery in Mysore, India. It's really beautiful, absolute nirvana. Soft, sweet, delicious balsamic love and warm ancient happy delight! I tasted him all night, and in the morning I awoke bathed in his loveliness. I know this oil goes against all ryhme and reason, but if you are a sandalwood fan, and miss the delicious voluptuousness of Indian Sandalwood, then come have a look and smell and a taste of this extravagent beauty. I need hardly say, supply is extremely limited!

From Zanzibar!

More astonishing and unexpected joy has arrived with three quietly spectacular oils from Zanzibar -
Pemba Island actually! African Basil, just pure techinicolor glory, hallucinogenic even! We couldn't stop laughing as we geeked! Cinnamon Leaf, and he smells a lot more "barky" than cinnamon leaf usually does, just blushing with heat, and, of course, righteously famous African Clove, the trademark of those glorious little Islands.

4 New Blends!

After a long creative hiatus I am thrilled to present these original and strongly redolent essential oil blends, handmade at Enfleurage! Romance is a floral bouquet of jasmine, tuberose and rose, serenaded by sultry spices and Italian mandarin; complex and pure love in a bottle! Immune Aid is what we take when we feel ourselves getting sick--it's a no-nonsense super hero mix of thyme, lemon, tea tree, cinnamon bark, and ravensara! Orient is an unusual and excitingly etheral and absurdly bright blend of black and white pepper, verbena basil, tagetes, and violet leaf. All sparkle! Meditation is frankincense (of course!) bolstered by spruce, sage and nagarmotha. Come and try them out!

grandiflorum

Jasmine Kadeem!

Kadeem means "aged" in Arabic, and this is another new surprise for us. She is Jasmine grandiflorum from Tami Nadu and she has mellowed, with her effervescence maturing into a sweet/tart cherry harmony!

A Gift of Sight and Communication

My friend Cristina Henning takes glasses, both reading and prescription, to South Sudan. Despite all its potential, South Sudan is still a mess and has had many problems over the years, including a 30+ year war and of course poverty and isolation. It's the area abutting Darfur. So these glasses are much appreciated. We are accepting all kinds of eyewear and old mobile phones (they don't have to work) at Enfleurage in anticipation of her next trip to South Sudan in April.

Many thanks to Steve Cass for this photograph of Salalah on the WInter Solstice.
That's it from me for now. Thanks for reading this and hope to hear from you soon
