Welcome!

Welcome to Enfleurage, home of the finest essential oils and natural aromatics. This month our window features
Lilies and an alembic in celebration of our Lily Enfleurage.
Slow persuasion of the scent subtleties of this otherwise unextractable flower have worked their magic and we have a 100% natural perfect replication of the actual flowers.

Sandalwood

Alhamdulilah! This is actually the same batch as our last one. He comes from Timor, Indonesia, sweet, warm and balsamy, reminiscent of the Indian. And Santalum album he is! Grown in Indonesia from S. album trees, this oil has reigned Sandalwood Supreme for quite a while at Enfleurage. We received only a small amount, but more is on the way!

Ambergris

Fresh and fecally, straight from the beaches of Dhofar. This is really strong, fresh, and really powerful animal, marine, with a disgustingly exciting undertone. We don't make this into a tincture-just have the solid chunk. You can dilute it as you like. In some cultures people eat it...for men's strength, what else? Some have wondered about the legalities of ambergris. I have found that in 2001 it was taken off the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 as no one is harmed in its harvest. The Sperm Whales expel it naturally, through both ends!

Fresh Frankincense

We have some new and super fresh, super oozy, excellent, drippy, gooey, chewy Howjary gum just picked and in the store now. Harvested 10 days ago in the mountains of Hasik! There are lots of green pieces in it, suitable for dissolving in water and drinking, as well as incense.

Still in Oman

I am still passing time here in Salalah, and making some super-specialized ultra geek frankincense oils-by grove and grade. We will have a big surprise about this lovely Luban soon enough, but in the meantime, we have these small distillations, which should be in the store soon. Relatively soon anyway.

facebook Yes, we succumbed and have a page! However, it's not the page I announced in the last newsletter. That one had a problem loading and I had to redo it. There is a link to the new page, from the old page, and here is another as well. Please sign up as a fan if you like! We would be honoured and delighted! Is it important to you how your essential oils are sourced? Visit our discussion page and give us your opinion!

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon
