Mountain Brook plans a unified relief effort for the Pleasant Grove Spartans!
 Representatives from the City, City Council, Mountain Brook Chamber, Mountain Brook School System, PTO and the Emmet O'Neal Library have formed a task force to coordinate the Mountain Brook Disaster Relief Effort. Father's Day Special Guests at South East Church

June 19, Father's Day, you will have a unique opportunity to strengthen your family at South East Church.
There you will meet Nick & Nancy Stinnett, a couple filled with great faith, who happen to be among the nation's foremost authorities
on what it takes to build strong relationships. Their work appears in University textbooks as well as a range of popular books
on strong relationships.
Nick will speak at the 10 AM service. Nick & Nancy will be available for discussion and questions.
South East Church meets in the auditorium of Crestline Elementary School at 3785 W. Jackson Blvd.
Nick Stinnett, Ph.D. Acclaimed author of Good Kids, Magnificent Marriage, Secrets of Strong Families, Relationships in Marriage and Family, Dr. Stinnett is a professor at The University of Alabama and a national and international leader in research on marriage, children and families.
He has testified before Congress at hearings on children, youth, and families, received the Mace Medal Award,
and has been published in USA Today, McCall's, Parents Magazine, and Redbook.
Nancy Stinnett has master's degree from Oklahoma State University. She has been teaching classes on marriage, parenting, and general human development at the University of Alabama since 1987. Nancy has coauthored books on marriage and family with her husband, Nick, to whom she has been married for 41 years. Nick and Nancy have two grown sons and four grandchildren and live in Northport, Alabama.
