...an evolution in sport. |
Greetings!
Hard to believe we're already half way through the summer session.
Some of the Jump! Team after a successful Family Appreciation Party 2010 | Although the kids in the gym still have their heads firmly in summer (Summer Camps have been a blast with a whole pile of fun new afternoon activities this season such as Cooking with the Coaches, Lego Math and Photography lessons), I'm already thinking fall. And fall of course, means new beginnings. On the Jump! team there will be a few changes, we're saying goodbye to Leanne Hughes who has been with us since the beginning, welcoming back Mizuka and saying hello to some brand new members of the team. Leanne played a big role in Jump!'s first two years and we'd like to thank her for all her work helping Jump! kids acquire physical confidence. Leanne's enthusiasm for, and patience with children, has always won her lots of pint-size fans. If any of your little ones want to send a drawing or goodbye wishes to her please do leave them at the front desk and we'll make sure they get to her. Another change at Jump! is that Lindsay Little has a new title: General Manager. Since day one Lindsay's hard work and knowledge of Jump! has kept things running smoothly. Whether it is whose grandma is visiting or who is allergic to chocolate, nobody knows our Jump! families like Lindsay. In the future I will be spending more time on business growth and taking the Jump! philosophy out into the community so I'm thrilled that more of the day to day operations will be in Lindsay's capable hands. Thanks so much to all the kids and parents who turned out for our second annual Family Appreciation Party on July 25th. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We've got another fun gym drop in opportunity coming up, and it's for a good cause. We believe unstructured outdoor play is one of the best foundations for an active life, so we're very appreciative of how hard Parent Advisory Councils work to raise funds for playgrounds. That's why we've teamed up for a special Playdate for Playgrounds fundraiser on Sunday, August 22nd (more information below). We hope to see you here! And finally, Date Nights just got better (see below) for all, with a little extra help for those with three or more kids (now I've got one myself, I have a better appreciation of the challenges ;) Enjoy the rest of the summer...
Sincerely,

Need a Night Out Sans Kids? Date Night Just Got Better
Our recent Family Appreciation Party was a fantastic success, but we'd still like to do a little something more to show some Parent Appreciation. Even though our Date Nights have been known to sell out we figured we could still make it a little easier for moms and dads to get out on their own for an evening on the town. Effective immediately, our Date Nights (offered two Fridays a month from 5-8pm) will now cost only $19 per child and the third child in a family is free. More information here.
It is not too late to sign up for a Date Night this Friday (July 30th) or you can plan ahead ( Aug. 13 and Aug. 27th). Register online or by calling 604.568.9690. |
