Greetings!
AW skiing
The last class of Term 2 is tomorrow so I just wanted to send out a a quick note before we head off for Winter Break.

One great side effect of the Olympics is that they often get kids excited about sport. Some of our older Jump! Kids might announce plans to become an Olympic skier or skater. It is a great opportunity to talk to them about how the activities they do now help build the strong and healthy body they will need to do all the things that interest them as they grow. One of the big reasons why I fell in love with developmental gymnastics for young children is that its such a great gateway to any sport. Jump! kids can dream big, keep their options open and, no matter what they choose, they will have the tools they need to be an active adult.

There's a lot going on about town in the next few weeks. If you want recommendations for kid-friendly activities then check out the impressive Olympic Family Fun Guide from yoyomama.ca.

See below for information about Term 3 and how to contact us during the break. Enjoy the excitement, and see you soon!

Sincerely,

Jennifer Hood
Director, Jump! Gymnastics

Jennifer Hood in FWE E serioes

FWE Picks Jump! Jen and Audrey at the FWE

Jump! Gymnastics was very excited to learn that Director Jennifer Hood was one of only thirteen women accepted to BC's Forum for Women Entrepreneurs 2010 E-series. The FWE's highly competitive E-series is a six-month program for women entrepreneurs of early-stage high-growth leverageable businesses. Jennifer is honoured to have been selected in such great company and looking forward to exploring opportunities to bring Jump! Gymnastics to more children.

babyjumpThose Babies Just Keep Growing & Other Term 3 Registration Tales!

If you keep meaning to re-register for Term 3 and haven't quite gotten there yet, there are still some spaces for most age groups. Due to lots of "graduations" amongst our youngest, there are a number of options in babyjump! and Jump! One.

We've also added two new classes:
babyjump! - Tuesday, 11:15am
Jump! Two - Wednesday, 9:15am

About Jump! Gymnastics
