Thank You to Our Veterans
More than 50 Veterans and their families joined us for a special Veterans Day Celebration last Thursday. Veterans enjoyed a blessing at a mass, followed by a patriotic performance by the St. Anastasia Royal Ram Band, breakfast and packages filled with cards, letters and notes of thanks. A BIG thanks to the Student Government for decorating, serving and hosting the ceremony. Additionally, one of our first-grade teachers, Mrs. Bush, created a video presentation featuring the students and patriotic music that brought tears to the eyes of many veterans that were present.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Members of the Student Government have been working on the Food Drive this year. They have been collecting the food from the classrooms, transporting it to the Parish Center and sorting the donations. But they want to work even harder -- so send in more donations soon!
_________________________________________________
Only two days left...
The St. Anastasia Church and School Food Drive runs through Friday, November 18. Our donations will be distributed locally through the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Juan Diego Mission and the Notre Dame Mission.
Donations are down this year - please prayerfully consider donating more food, if possible, (even if you have already donated) before the week's end to make sure we can fill each and every food basket we are sending out.
Each grade level will be responsible for bringing in specific food items (see list below), however any and all donations are appreciated! We will need volunteers to help pack up the food baskets for distribution. If you are interested in helping, please call Darlene at the Parish Office at 461-2233.
