Thanksgiving Food Drive
The annual Thanksgiving Food drive, in partnership with St. Anastasia Catholic Church, gets underway on Nov. 1. Thanks to all of you who have helped make the food drive such a huge success in the past. This year has presented many challenges for all of us, yet our hearts still yearn to reach out to those less fortunate than ourselves. When we give sacrificially with a joyful heart, the return from God for our "investment" knows no limits.

The Food Drive begins Tuesday, Nov. 1 and runs through November 18. Our donations will be distributed locally through the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Juan Diego Mission and the Notre Dame Mission. Each grade level will be responsible for bringing in specific food items (see list below or click here to print out the list), however any and all donations are appreciated! We will need volunteers to help pack up the food baskets for distribution. If you are interested in helping, please call Darlene at the Parish Office at 461-2233.

Emergency Procedures Reminder

Mr. Kurt Myers, the Radiological Emergency Coordinator for St. Lucie County, asked that we remind parents of our evacuation procedures in the event that an emergency occurs at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant located on Hutchinson Island. As a precaution, the evacuation of schools may be considered prior to any general public action. Not all schools will require evacuation. Parents are not to come to the school to pick up your children. St. Lucie County Public Safety and Communications, in coordination with St. Lucie County School District, will issue press releases to local radio and television stations regarding evacuations and other important information. Detailed information regarding our school's evacuation plans in regards to all emergencies can be found in our handbook online at www.stanna.org.
