Thanksgiving Food Drive Begins On November 1
The annual Thanksgiving Food drive, in partnership with St. Anastasia Catholic Church, gets underway on Nov. 1. Thanks to all of you who have helped make the food drive such a huge success in the past. This year has presented many challenges for all of us, yet our hearts still yearn to reach out to those less fortunate than ourselves. When we give sacrificially with a joyful heart, the return from God for our "investment" knows no limits. This year, the Food Drive begins Tuesday, Nov. 1 and runs through November 18. Our donations will be distributed locally through the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Juan Diego Mission and the Notre Dame Mission. Each grade level will be responsible for bringing in specific food items (see list below or click here to print out the list), however any and all donations are appreciated! We will need volunteers to help pack up the food baskets for distribution. If you are interested in helping, please call Darlene at the Parish Office at 461-2233.

Kindergarten News

Both kindergarten classes celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Fátima on October 13. Several students performed a skit about Fatima and explaining the significance.
Fatima is a visit by Our Heavenly Mother Mary with a message of concern, world peace, and promise. The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared six times to three shepherd children: Lucy, Francisco and Jacinta, between May 13 and October 13, 1917. She came to the little village of Fatima which had remained faithful to the Catholic Church during the persecutions by the government.
