Thanksgiving Food Drive
A note from Sarah Fitzgerald, Religious Education Coordinator, St. Anastasia School & Darlene Francis, Parish Office, St. Anastasia Church

Dear Parents:
Our thanks and appreciation continues to go out to all of you who have helped to make the Annual Food Drive such a huge success in the past. This year has had many challenges for all of us, and yet your hearts continue to reach out to those less fortunate time and time again. There are more and more families who need our help. And when we give sacrificially with a joyful heart, the return from God for our "investment" knows no limits. You can't out-give God.

In partnership with St. Anastasia Church, we are collecting non-perishable food for those in need again this year. The church will distribute the food baskets to each family by November 20th. If you can help, please turn in your donations by Monday, Nov. 16th. A list of food by grades needed is listed below. We will also need volunteers to help pack up the food baskets for distribution. Let us give with a joyful heart and allow God to work through us for the greater Glory of His Kingdom here on Earth. God bless!

For the fourth year, the schools are partnering to offer the community high-quality, fresh-cut Fraser fir trees and wreaths from North Carolina. This fundraiser for both schools will feature trees that range in size from 5/6 feet ($45), 6/7 feet ($55), 7/8 feet ($65), 8/9 feet ($85) to 9/10 feet ($95). Also available for sale:
  • 24-inch, hand-decorated Fraser fir wreaths for $35.
  • 3.5 quart, live Poinsettia plants for $15 -- new item to the sale this year!

We are still in need of artificial berries to decorate the wreaths. You can earn one hour of volunteer time for a donation of approximately $20 worth of artificial berries. Please turn your donation in to the Development Office with your name and we will record your hour(s) for you. Thanks for your support!
