You're a V.I.P -- Very Important Parent! Join Us at the Parent Orientation Meeting on August 12
 
The start of the school year is fast approaching and the faculty and staff at St. Anastasia is eagerly anticipating another exciting year. We will be reviewing the following school goals and miscellaneous policy changes at the Parent Orientation meeting on Wednesday, August 12 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium:
  • Effective use of our new religion textbook series
  • Adopting last year's changes to the social studies curriculum
  • Developing our knowledge of our faith and our prayer life
  • Improving the use of technology in and out of the classroom
  • Improving communication between home and school
  • Effectively communicating student behavior expectations and supporting our consistent Christian-based discipline.
Please plan on attending this very important meeting. As incentive, a free dress day will be awarded to the children whose parents attend. The Uniform Store will be open that evening from 5:30-7 p.m.
Uniform Store Update
The St. Anastasia Uniform Store is now carrying school supplies! Stop by and pick up those last minute supplies, uniform items and beautiful religious items before the Parent Orientation meeting on Wednesday, August 12 when the store will have special evening hours from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Open 9 a.m.-noon, Monday-Friday
with
Special Evening Hours
Wednesday, August 12
5:30 p.m.-7 p.m.

Week of August 17
Open 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

Remember, the St. Anastasia School Uniform Store is a fundraising effort with proceeds benefiting the school.

The Parent Teacher Organization has a wonderful year of activities and fun planned for you. Please join them at the first meeting of the year to learn about events and happenings with PTO.

Open House
We welcome all families to the St. Anastasia Catholic School Open House. This is an informal opportunity for families to visit their new classrooms and meet their teachers and administration.

Junior High Youth Group at St. A's Church
We are happy to announce that this year there will be a Junior High Youth Program at St. Anastasia Catholic Church under the direction of Mr. Kris Frank, the Director of Youth Ministry at the Church. There will be monthly meetings for all 6th, 7th & 8th grade students with lots of of food, fun, games and Church teachings. Parent volunteers are greatly appreciated. There will an informational meeting on Wednesday, August 26 at 7 p.m. in the youth room of the Parish Center.
