Oregon Legislative Alerts
Prepare Yourself for a CRAZY Session in Salem!

Oregon ACC Members - Only when you think you've seen enough.....more begins to happen!

Our state is forging ahead with major legislation toward a single payer system, increases in primary care reimbursement at the expense of the specialty groups, and uniform payment at MEDICARE rates.

This year's legislative session promises to be one of the most challenging in Oregon ACC history. For that reason we are going to be providing you regular updates on Oregon legislation and the effect it may play on your practice.

Please read these Advocacy Alerts carefully and consider joining our Oregon ACC contingent in Salem on March 17th. Our Oregon legislators must hear from us on these and other issues!

Critical Bills in the Oregon Legislative System  that are being closely monitored by the Oregon ACC, ACC National and The OMA right now:

Senate Bill 210 - Primary Care Payment Increase Increases Medicaid Payment to Primary Care Providers, i.e., NPs, FPs, Internists to 150% of Medicare

House Bill 3510 - Creates a "national" health care plan in Oregon. Replaces all commercial insurance companies

House Bill 3522 - Stark Law on steroids - means docs CAN'T own anything they can refer to - not MRI, not an ASC, not PT - nothing.

House Bill 3559 - Creates uniform payment rates AND uniform payment for all services - at Medicare rates

Stay tuned and PLEASE consider getting involved in our Oregon Advocacy Efforts.
