Greetings!
Welcome to the premier issue of the W+D NewsLink. In addition to our normal direct mail program, we have added this web-based method of communication to provide the latest news and ideas for you on a more frequent basis. There is a lot of activity going on at W+D that you might find interesting. In this issue for example, we will show you how you can search our TIP program through our website. This will allow you to see the various machine upgrades and improvement packages that are available for certain machines. From there you can order printed copies of the TIP sheets to be mailed to you.
We will be providing various service ideas and technical suggestions in future issues. We also welcome suggested topics from you as well. As always, we want to hear from you with any feedback and look forward to helping you meet and exceed your goals.
Sincerely,
President/CEO |
NEW Technical Improvement Program |
W+D is pleased to introduce our Technical Improvement Program, or TIP for short. What is a TIP? If you need to expand your production capabilities, update your existing W+D machine or simply add additional features, you will find these upgrades here. This program will encompass all of the proven W+D machine upgrades available for every machine type.
These TIPs are now available in a searchable web engine from our web site. If you would like to receive a complete listing of TIPs for your machine, contact Richard Breneman at 913.492.9880 rfbreneman@wdmachinery.com

How to access your machine TIPs online |
Follow this TIP link to the W+D web site. Continue to the Technical Improvement Program link listed on the main service page.
Here you will be asked
the following questions:
Production Area (select converting for envelope equipment) After selecting your production area, a secondary menu will appear.
Technical Machine Type (select your machine type from the pull down menu)
Then enter search TIP
Again, you can enter as much or as little data as you have available. You can search by serial number, the year your machine was built, and the machine type. As this is a new program, we do not have every possible TIP completed (100+ at the time of this mailing), so please check back periodically. If you find a TIP of interest, please enter your contact data and an electronic and hard copy will be mailed to your attention. We are all excited to offer you this new and exciting tool to maintain your W+D equipment to the highest production standards.
