Entrepreneurial Endeavors

Greetings!

Pick one training event to attend and win the lotto of entrepreneurial learning. We have so many offerings this spring, there should be one that will help you personally or professionally. Check out the upcoming training on how to start a business, the expo for home-based businesses, or a symposium for community leaders and nonprofits to learn about creativity.  We continue the process of hiring a counselor and helping lay the foundation for the Coles County Entrepreneurship Class.

My "Pick One" will be attending a youth education conference at the Kauffman Foundation and looking for ways to improve our programming. Educators, please contact me if you would like me to present, "Do You Have What it Takes to Be an Entrepreneur?" to your classroom or assembly. The brochures for Camp e3 will be ready soon, so consider getting a student excited about attending that business pitch competition.

The Kauffman Foundation has wonderful "Sketchbook" videos that highlight key points about entrepreneurship. Click below to learn about funding resources for start-ups and then view some of their other videos and resources on their web-site. They have wonderful resources for the classroom.
