A Snapshot of What this Position Entails

 

The teacher must be an educational entrepreneur, one who consistently looks to learn and improve and who consistently looks outside of traditional resources to provide important and transformational experiences for students. That means the teacher must be able to adapt and change quickly as opportunities, guests, etc. become available. Student needs drive the day-to-day activities of the class, and the teacher must be able to recognize and customize the learning environment to best meet those needs...

 

Qualifications 

 

The Coles County Entrepreneurship Class Board seeks a dynamic, energetic individual who meets the following qualifications:

  • degree in Business Education with Teacher Certification or 60 hours of college credits in business with 2,000 hours of experience in business;
  • successful experience in working with high school students, business members and educators.
